Jun 25 This annual event features a children's concert, a teddy bear grooming station, games, mascots and a picnic for kids and their teddy bear friends. The event showcases the talents of artist in a variety of genres and offers events as varies as a symphony performance on the harbour, an improv night and African drum and dance ensembles.
The next Sound Symposium music festival will be held in 2008.

TBA This event features a re-enactment of Napolean Bonaparte's surrender to the English Navy, a port wine toast and tours of the wine vaults. The event takes place on the anniversary of the historic event annually and is organized by the Newfoundland Historic Trust.
